In addition to cultural and gender diversity, one more diversity, organizations are currently experiencing and that is age diversity. Although it is advantageous for the organization, to some extent it can also be considered as a challenge to effectively manage employees belonging to varied age range. In day to day functioning, as well as in designing and implementing various policies and practices related to human resource, it becomes difficult for organizations, if employees are in varied age groups. In view of solving certain problems related to age diversity at work place, reverse mentoring is one of the useful and important tools used by many companies.
Thus, purpose of the paper is to review how reverse mentoring helps companies to reduce age gap virtually and how it also helps in managing age diversity at workplace.
