Training Need Analysis of Faculty Members of Business Schools

In view of increased business complexities, it is needless to say that the quality management education has become the need of the hour. With changing expectations from today's manager, the inputs given by b-schools also have to be different. Hence, faculty members of business schools are expected to have varied skills and competencies to perform their role effectively. To meet this goal, there is a requirement of adopting systematic Training Need Analysis (TNA).

With the help of review of relevant literature, this paper is an attempt to understand nature of present management education and different roles and responsibilities the teachers of business schools are expected to perform. This paper also attempts to understand the emerging training needs of business school teachers which need to be addressed.
