The methodology would involve the use of secondary data sources in order to understand the scenario of stem cell research in India, with respect to the business objectives. It is still an emerging field in India, which needs proper funding and good policies for implementation by government authorities and organizations like DST, DBT and ICMR. Several research institutions and biotech companies have been formed with the mandate on bringing stem cell research outcomes from bench to bedside.
