Abstract
Vegetation of the phosphate mines area at Pathorgora, in Singhbhum Dist., Bihar is discussed. Near-absence of Sal (Shores robusta Gaertn. f.) is the most dominant feature. Occurrences of plants in relation to phosphate ore are also discussed.
