Structure, development and distribution of trichomes on the floral appendages of 12 species of Salvia have been studied. A total of 17 types of nonglandular'and glandular trichomes have been recognised. They provide good taxonomic criteria on specific level and on the basis of types of trichomes and their distribution a key has been devised to distinguish various species of Salvia investigated.- Foliar Epidermal Studies in Rosaceae II: Prunus
