Web today is the most powerful tool for the instant access of millions of information resources. Children are among the most frequent users of the Internet. They face many challenges while searching and browsing the web. This paper presents the results of a study conducted on the use of World Wide Web by school children of Vijayapura city, Karnataka. It examines different aspects of using web by school children in terms of experience with web, frequency of use, purpose of using search engine, problems encountered in using web, etc. The study was done using survey method and structured questionnaire.Keywords
