Awareness and Use of Electronic Information Resources by PG Students in a University Environment : A Study of Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura, Karnataka

The study has been conducted to know the awareness and use of electronic information resources by P.G. students of Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura. Survey method of study has been used as Research method with questionnaire as data collection tool. Based on the data elicited from 90 PG students it is found that there is low awareness of e-resources. It also finds that those who are aware are using them and satisfied rate is good. Study concludes that regular and rigorous awareness program have to be conduct and hands on training has to be provided to enhance the research skill.
