Almost convergence for sequences of real or complex numbers was discussed by Lorentz, Acta Math. (1948) and almost convergence in Banach space was studied by Kurtz, Tohoku Math. J. (1972). The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study the concepts of almost continuous mappings, almost compact sets and almost compact operators in Banach spaces.- Convexity and Generalized Convexity of Composite Functions
