Abstract
The following account of some geometrical aspects of the invariant theory, is given in the hope that it may encourage further work in what is a really interesting subject. The presentation does not presume to be novel. It involves much that is generally picked up in passing by anyone who adopts the Hamiltonian Methods of Quaternions or the Grassmann Calculus of Extensive Magnitudes.
