Abstract
A ferro- manganese nodule collected in EEZ of Seychelles yields a growth rate of 1.5 mm/106Y by 230Th (ex) and 230Th (ex)/232Th activity ratio methods indicating very slow growth of ferro-manganese nodules. The Mn/Fe and U/Th ratios suggest that the genesis of the studied nodule is of hydrogenetic origin.
