Abstract
In a previous communication (1957) the author of this paper had recorded the occurrence of mugearite among the lava flows of the Pavagad Hill. Further work has led to the discovery of a large number of other petrographic types, and these have been described in this paper together with an account of their inter-relationship. The nature of the parent magma has also been discussed and it is shown to be alkaline olivine-basalt.
