The activity of algae, fungi, sponges, bryozoa and barnacles on the belemnoid rostra from clays of the Utatur Group in the form of micro borings are described. The sponge and bryozoan borings are represented by Clionoides Fenton & Fenton and Talpina Hagenow respectively; while, barnacle borings are represented by ichnogenus Brachyzapfes Codez and De Saint-Seine. The algal borings are assigned to ichnogenus Calcideletrix Haentzschel. Ichnogenera Nygmites Haentzschel and Radiarites ichnogen. nov. are the borings of fungi. Ichnogenus Cylindrocavites Ichnogen nov. is erected to accommodate circular borings of unknown affinities.
The present study shows that the borers and the belemnoids belonged to the same biocoenose and indicate littoral to shallow sublittoral depths of well aerated, slightly turbulent but clear marine waters.

Paper reports the presence of the genus Worthoceras Adkins from the Utatur Group, Cretaceous deposits of Tiruchchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. The genus is represented by three species, viz., Worthoceras vermiculian, W. gibbosum and Worthoceras sp. aff. W. rochatianum. History and phylogenetic position of the genus is discussed in detail. Authors following Henderson (1973), place the Wortoceros species under the family Scaphitidae and consider the genus Otoscaphites Wright as an evolutionary form in the lineage Eoscaphites-Scophites.- Stratigraphic Distribution of Ichnotaxa in Wagad Region, Kutch, India

Ichnofacies of rocks of Jurassic sequence of Wagad, Kutch, are identified on the basis of ichnoassemblages, Wagad Sandstone Formation belongs to shallow Cruziana facies; Washtawa Formation to deeper Cruziana facies; Gangta Member (East) to intermediate Cruziana facies and Gangta Member (West) to Zoophycos facies. The stratigraphic distribution of the ichnoasscmblages indicates regression of the sea from Argovian to Lower Cretaceous.- Locomotory Traces (Repichnia) from the Jurassic sequence of Kutch, Gujarat
