Abstract

Total stream length (ΣL) and relief ratio (Rr) are the most significant morphometric parameters, which have been used to define allometric change of hydrometric parameters i.e. stream discharge (Q) and silt delivery (S) as: Q = a+b (ΣL) and S = a b (Rr). The allometric models are largely controlled by bedrock lithologies. The lower Ramganga catchment in the central. U.P. Himalaya was employed as a natural laboratory for the above investigation.
