Sample-porosity of core samples of limestone for the Fahaihil section (Western part of Qatar peninsula) and refered to Early Eocene in age varies, widely from 3.0 to 30%. Different types of secondary porosity have been distinguished. The recognized types of secondary porosity which formed by dissolution and leaching of grains, cement, or pore fillings have economic significance.
