Coccoliths in Barakar formation of Ramgarh Coalfield, Bihar

A few coccoliths are being reported from the Barakar sediments of Ramgarh coalfield. These point to marine environment, though of not precisely known time. A Lower Gondwana affinity of these cannot be ruled out.
