Agnostid Fauna from the Middle Cambrian of Kashmir

Agnostid fauna from the Middle Cambrian Solenopleura-Tonkinella Zone of northwestern Kashmir is described. It includes Peronopsis cf. tramitis, P. amplaxis in addition to a new species, P. extensa and two left under open nomenclature. The other taxa include Acadagnostus acadicus, A. scutalis and Pentagnostus cf. anabarensis. The assemblage is correlated with the Ptychagnostus gibbus zone of Australia and North America.
