A Note on the Lower Miocene and Recent Species of the Ostracode Genus Loxoconchella from India

Three taxa of the ostracode genus Loxoconchella are described and illustrated. Of these, two species - L. multibullata n. sp, and Loxoconchella sp. - are recorded from the Quilon beds (Lower Miocene) of Kerala and one species - L. dorsobullata okhaensis n. subsp, - from the shallow water near Okha Port, Gulf of Kachchh.
