Results of a detailed hydrological test conducted with arrays of observation wells have been utilized in deciphering inter-relationship between aquifers in the SutIej basin. Drawdown values obtained at various distances from the pumped well are interpreted, and it is shown that the aquifers below the first clay layer are under leaky confined condition.
