Early Lower Carboniferous Conodonts from the Syringothyris Limestone of Kashmir

Conodonts from the lower part of the Syringothyris Limestone exposed near Aishmuqam in the Liddar Valley, Kashmir, include Clydagnatlllls gilwernensis Rhodes, Austin, and Druce, Polygnathus communis communis Branson and Mehl, Bispathodus stabilis (Branson and Mehl), and Bispathodus aculeatus plumulus (Rhodes, Austin, and Druce). The fauna is of early lower Carboniferous (early Tournasian) age.
