Problems of classifying the A and B Forms of reticulate Nummulites with large embryonic apparatus and intercalary whorls respectively from Early Oligocene rocks of Maniyara Fort Formation, south-western Kutch are discussed. The taxon is described and illustrated; pending further investigations, it is provisionally identified here as Nummulites cf. fichteli Michelloti.
