Five species of Acanthoceras Neumayr are described here of which two species are new. Aeanthoeeras rhotomagense represented by two varieties-sussexiense (Mantell) and confusum (Gueranger), and Acanthoceras sanetorum Matsumoto are being reported for the first time.

Abstract
