Abstract
In the present investigation, bioaccumulation of zinc was estimated in the gills and intestine of Channa pundaliis after 135 day exposure to such levels of zinc (0.lmg/l and 0.2mg/l) which are normally found in natural water bodies around Jaipur. Significant increase in concentration of zinc was noted in the tissues both of the above organs. This increase was dose and duration dependent.
