A Note on the Burrowing Shrimps (Crustacea: Decapoda: Gebiidea: Axiidea) of Maharashtra Coast, India

The paper deals with five species of burrowing shrimps belonging to five genera and four families from Maharashtra coast. Current nomenclature, taxonomic remarks and distribution of these species in India and elsewhere have been presented.
