Abstract
Effects of oral administration of nickel chloride at doses of 8 and 16mg/kg body weight and potassium dichromate at doses of 5 and 10 mg/kg body weight in female mice (Mus musculus) for 30 days were investigated. The body and organ weight were not significantly affected by nickel or chromium treatments. But combined treatment of nickel and chromium showed a reduction in these weights. Irregularity in cyclicity of the female was also observed in these treated groups as compared to the normal groups.
