Abstract
The present Study was undertaken with an objective of assessing the antigonadal effect of exogenous melatonin injections in ovarian follicular growth compensatory ovarian hypertrophy. Female rats exhibiting regular estrous cycle were unilaterally ovariectomised and melatonin was administered at the dose rates of 10,20 and 40 micrograms to these rats divided in groups (n=3D6).
