Abstract
The introduction of Polyethylene to replace ferrous and non-ferrous metals in a wide range of items produced has opened a new horizon and is steadily in progress all through. Resistance to attack by inorganic chemicals, alkalies and aqueous solutions, polyethylene has suitably been put towards the Industrial use of manufacturing sanitary fittings, water supply pipe-FITTINGS and electrical conduct fittings, while other uses too are being simultaneously envisaged at.
