Abstract
The unjustifiability of a general charge per unit and the utility of the two-part tariff have been touched upon. At the same time the difficulties encountered in determining the fixed charge have been explained. Though we have not as yet arrived at any definite conclusion about the method of determining the fixed charge the advantages lying thereunto can not be ignored.
