Abstract
Perhaps the most successful marriage on this earth is that between science and mankind. Yes, there are tiffs and tuffs, but never, -never the slightest possibility of a divorce. Naturally man, getting so nice a life partner like science, is always hopeful about its happy future. But, in fact, husband and wife are not all in a family, there comes the question of bank balance, the questions of disobedient children-diseases-accidents and what not. Perhaps that is why even to the most optimist well-wishers of this marriage, a happier tomorrow is not so obvious as it is dreamt of to be.
