Abstract
The economic progress of every nation depends on the development of resources and most of the developing nations like ourselves must look to the land and agriculture for resources to build a strong national economy. In most countries, the agricultural development has not kept up with the population growth and therefore, the developing nations have to depend on import of food grains inspite of the fact that there is enough fallow land available in the country. Quite a large portion of the unreclaimed or fallow land is forested in some cases with shrubs and in other cases heavy forestation.
