The disposal of industrial and domestic waste could pollute air, water and land. India is on the threshold of an industrial revolution and each day new industries are being established in various fields. Each of these industries require water, either ordinary or specially treated, producing according to the method of manufacture industrial waste water. Thus the nature of the waste water depends upon the type of industry, process of manufacture and location.
