'Use of Vegetable Wastes as a Filter Media'

Use of vegetable waste materials in water treatment processes has indicated that they can substitute the conventional costly materials and impart considerable saving in construction and operation of plant. Nirmali Seed, Red Sorella Seed, Starch and other vegetable products have been used as coagulant aids and are found to be very effective and economical.
