Fuzzy probabilistic AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) outranking multi-criteria decision making technique has been proposed in this paper, for a multi-criteria supplier ranking problem. Generally, practical situations face uncertainty in the selection of alternatives and criteria. Such situations can be dealt with the probabilistic treatment for both the alternatives and the criteria. This paper proposes fuzzy probabilistic orientation for both the alternatives and the criteria. The fuzzy probabilistic Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) outranking technique is applied for serving the purpose. Therefore, the main contribution of this paper lies in the fuzzy orientation of AHP and its application on supplier ranking problem. Numerical example shows the applicability of the proposed technique.
