Seven National Research Laboratories have been planned for the advancement of Indian Science and Industry by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. The National Physical Laboratory, whose foundation-stone is to be laid in Delhi on Saturday, Jan. 4, by the Hon'ble Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, will be the fourth in the chain of these Laboratories.
