Factory administration is bringing together of materials, equipments, and other activities necessary for production. These things must be provided as and when they are required. Raw materials will be needed in suitable quantities and conditions, machines will be required to change the raw material into articles and workmen will have to be engaged to work the machines and equipments, in the form of tools and accessories to aid the man on the job. There will be stores, in which raw materials and finished parts for assembly are kept. Testing equipments should be provided, in order that the articles produced is efficient and serviceable for customers. The price at which the article is sold should cover all expenses involved in making of it, and a sufficient balance should be put aside for future expansion and development. All laws and regulations relating to worker and factory must be observed. Agreements must be made with the workers or other concerns and must be respected. It is well for administration to take a long view of future requirements and treat the workers whenever possible better than they can legally demand and so assist in providing for future development of the product and concern.
