Theoretical study shows that this novel shape compact patch antenna has dual resonating frequencies at 1.56 GHz and 3.03GHz with highest percentage of band width up to 56. Without increasing the aperture area, this geometry also offers a facility for considerably reducing the resonant frequency compared to conventional patches.
