Design and Analysis of a Semi Elliptical Leaf Spring for Operating Load Conditions based on markets major failure cases where rear leaf assembly fails while carrying optimum operating service load is studied. The involved vehicle’s rear suspension system contains leaf springs that are constructed of either three or four leaves. There is a possibility that a leaf could fracture due to stress. Static analysis has been carried out to determine the Safe Stresses, Strains and check load. Modeling is done using NX8.5 Software and Analysis is done by using ANSYS Workbench 14.5 software. The present work attempts to modeling and static analysis of the leaf spring.

The present work attempts to modeling and static analysis of the leaf spring.
