Abstract
Soybean is the richest, cheapest and easiest source of protein and oil, having a vast multiplicity of uses, as a pulse/oil seed, vegetarian meal and milk. Soybean seeds are well known for their variation in size, colour and shape and also their physical and chemical composition. The physical and chemical differences are considerably modified by the heredity of the varieties and influences of climatic conditions in which they are grown.
