Abstract
Cholelithiasis has been acknowledged since ages, recently a spurt has been noted. There has been a significant increase in the incidence of cholelithiasis the world over including India and remains as a clinical enigma. Gallstone related symptoms and complications are among the most common gastroenterologic disorders requiring hospitalization.
