Vitamin A deficiency and protein energy malnutrition are serious nutritional disorders among socio-economically poor children in the world, excess intake of vitamin A has been indicated to afford some protection to the organism against adverse effects of unbalanced protein intake. The excessive intake of vitamin A has earlier been shown to alter the tissue lipid metabolism. These relationships between vitamin A and lipid metabolism led us to study the effect of single massive dose of vitamin A on phosphoric content and the incorporation of NaH332P04 into phosphoric content of lungs of rats in relation to the proteins consumed.- Effect of Different Dietary Protein Intake on Urinary Creatinine Excretion in Adults
