Abstract

Dietary fibre is defined as that part of plant material in our diet which is resistant to digestion. This term includes all undigestible polysaccharides, lignin, pectins, gums, mucilages, celiulose, hemicellulose and even bacterial degradation products of indigestible polysaccharides.

Abstract

The process of gall-stone formation is a physiological one, but many risk factors including: age, sex, geographical evidence, sedentary life style, heredity, infection and dietary factors are supposed to increase the lithogenicity of the bile in the cholelithiasis patients.
