Abstract
In recent years, street foods have become a part of the urban modern day life. Increased urbanisation, population explosion, lack of available quick transportation and limited time have resulted in the proliferation of street foods. EPOC studies in seven developing countries showed that the street foods provide employment for 6 to 25 percent of the labour force in the cities studied.
