Our present review deals with the significant roles of Adrenocorticomedullary hormones viz. Glucocorticoids and Catecholamines (Epinephrine & Norepinephrine) in amelioration of a particular type of stress i.e., psychophysical stress. From our review, it became evident that these hormones play a very significant role in counteracting psychophysical stressors in different species.
