Seminar on Biodiversity and Survival of Mankind

On the occasion of the International Year of Biodiversity-2010 as declared by the United Nations, a seminar was organized by the Institute of Science, Education and Culture (ISEC) on Biodiversity and Survival of Mankind on Saturday 9th October 2010 in the Jibanananda Hall of Bangla Academy. A large number of participants comprising of scientists, engineers of various disciplines, nature lovers, environmentalists, important personalities from all walks of life and also students of Presidency University pursuing postgraduate course on environmental science participated in the seminar. The seminar was presided by Prof D K Sinha, President of ISEC.
