Community information means the information related to the daily livelihood of a group of people. Community information service is the tool to provide community information. To search relevant information in networked era proper search terms (along with network of terms) are necessary. Suitable controlled vocabularies are necessary for the purpose of efficient retrieval of community information resources. Controlled vocabularies play a two-fold role, one in indexing the concepts and another in searching the information at the time of retrieval.Keywords
