On deeper analysis of available technologies and strategies to organize Internet resources like information gateways and portals, virtual libraries etc; it is found that there is considerable overlap between these different systems. Even though we have the technologies and standards already exist to make this vision a reality, still the lack of a collaborated gateway reflects in our user's dependency on Google and other mechanisms. This paper gives an out look towards a study to be undertaken to develop a global subject gateway portal with the help of an internationally integrated search strategy and content management system.References
