Abstract

The Employee Empowerment and commitment in banking sector has become a Buzzword in the recent management trends in both the public and private sector. Employee Empowerment has received wide recognition because it is a fundamental element of managerial and organizational effectiveness that increases when power and control are shared in an Organization. The astonishing development of the banking and financial services across the world has led to consider as one of the imperative contributor of the world gross domestic production. Unlike the developing nations, lots of people are employed in the banking Industry of developed countries. Today managing talent in the banking sector is the most crucial Human Resource Challenge all over the world, and it becomes as the main agenda of top management in every aspect in the predictable future. The ability to achieve competitive advantage through people strategy requires an overall HR approach. In the last two decades with rising Indian’s economy, a significant progress has taken place in Indian Banking sector. In spite of development and opportunities in this sector, it also faces various HR issues which admit key challenge for the Industry in India.

Abstract

Women are an important part of the society and play a significant role in nation building. Women constitute around 48% of population in India. Equal opportunities need to be provided to them in every sector be it is a science, Technology business etc., for the development of the nation. Their participation is must in the economic activities for increasing productivity, fostering economic growth and ensuring livelihood securities to women which have long remained as a concept among policy makers. In this regard, one area having a significant impact on the economy is Entrepreneurship. In addition to the contribution to the economy, entrepreneurship helps in the generation of employment. This is a vital importance especially in the rising sun state of Andhra Pradesh because of the bifurcation the newly generated state has lost a lot of Industries and increase a lot of unemployment. It is a dangerous situation to the state economy, financially and socially. In this context Government of Andhra Pradesh encouraged Entrepreneurship Development is the Top priority. The government and its Institutions and non-governmental Institutions have providing tremendous opportunities to opening up of enterprises for women. Therefore it is very essential to educate the women by providing formal as well as entrepreneurial education. The present study deals about the awareness about opportunities and support given by government and non-governmental Institutions to women entrepreneurship among the MBA graduates from Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. This research is based on the primary Data collected from 100 women MBA graduates. The collected data was analyzed and interpreted by using statistical tools like classification, tabulation, percentage, scaling technique and ANOVA. The study identified and suggested that the educational, governmental and nongovernmental failed to create awareness among the educated women about source, opportunities, programs, and support to become entrepreneurs. There should be increase the awareness level among women MBA graduates about the benefits, support and opportunities provided by governmental and nongovernmental opportunities for the entrepreneur development and there encouraged then to earn self-income for the benefit of the country and state.

Abstract

Banking sector have been playing a key role in the development of the Economy. The branch networking and priority sector lending activities, banking sector have been confirmed their socio-economic commitment. One of the major factors which have transformed the Indian Banking Sector has been the launching of economic reasons. The traditional face of Banking is also undergoing a change, from one of mere intermediaries to one of provider of quick efficient consumer-centric services. All the Banks whether public or private have incorporated their vision and philosophy on Corporate Governance disclosures of private and public sector Banks in India. A Disclosure index of 8 broad parameters has been prepared according to the Clause of 49 of the SEBI by using content Analysis. The population for the study is private and public sector banks in India. On the basis of Convenience Sampling method, 3 private sector banks and 3 public sector banks have been taken as samples for study. The private sector banks included in Sample are Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI. The public sector banks samples are State bank of India, Bank of Baroda, and Central bank of India and z-test statistical tools has been used for this study.

Abstract

The Industrial world is on the Brink of its 4th Revolution of Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is ushering the next revolution, where both human and machine talent can be brought together on frictionless platforms, to create new Business Models especially in supply chain sector and unlock new frontiers of efficiency. Huge supply chains are involved in the journey of any product takes from inception, to manufacture and then operation. The 4.0 Industrial Revolution is characterized by the convergence of breakthrough Technologies, such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, The Internet of Things, Virtual and augmented reality, wearable’s that are transforming productions processes and Business models across different Industries. Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to identify the specific dimensions of Human Resource Development Climate (HRDC) that significantly affect Employee Engagement (EE). It places the importance of HRDC in enhancing EE within the public sector in a developing country and finds answer to the question on the dimension of HRDC that causes employees to be engaged. The paper uses a self-designed questionnaire, made up of HRD climate survey and Utrecht work engagement scale to gather data from 355 respondents and analyzed using multiple regressions. Based on the data analyzed, results showed that HRDC has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. Additionally, it was found that employees are highly engaged in situations where their organization exhibits the HR Mechanism dimension of HRDC. The limitation is, it did not focus on the entire public sector but focused only on civil servants. It is therefore recommended that further studies be carried out with focus on other public sector organizations to confirm or refute the findings. This study adds to the limited literature on HRDC and EE in public sector organizations in a developing country. This finding brings to bear the major dimension of HRDC that managers should focus on improving employee engagement in a developing country, in which a high power distance culture exists.

Abstract

ICT was completely changed the Old structure in to new digital library with worldwide approach. Services also change according to users need based on ICT. Information knowledge awareness is important for Individuals to reach their desired goals. Today ICT is the important component of information access, information dissemination and information communication across the world. In this Article a survey method has been adopted which comprises of questionnaire, to know the information survey among the library users, by applying different search techniques like OPAC, Internet, etc.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of motivating the front line employees of retail stores in Hyderabad on the organizational commitment. The study is aim to appraise the existing literatures and build up the conceptual framework as well as hypotheses. The research was conducted with a convenience sample. A total of 97 respondents have participated in this research survey. Analysis of data and the discussion is included. Data collected were analyzed by the application of statistical tests i.e., Cronbach’s alpha reliability, Pearson correlation and Simple Linear Regression using SPSS 20.0. Results showed that significant impact from employee motivation of front line employees on organizational commitment (affective, normative and continuance). Some important recommendations are also derived from the study.

Abstract

In this study, the influence of psychological factors on consumer buying behavior is investigated. The effect of psychological factors on buying behavior of consumers, who become much more important day by day, is tried to be measured. Andhra Pradesh can be divided in to two regions namely costal Andhra Pradesh and Royalseema. From each region seven provinces are selected by random sampling method. A face to face survey was conducted on 100 people from each province and in total 1400 people participated in the survey. The information obtained from the results are analyzed and interpreted by the computer packet programs.

Abstract

A strong and stable banking sector is vital for the development of an economy. An extraordinary development has been noticed in the banking system of India in the last few years. The scenario of the Indian banking sector has changed due to liberalization, globalization, and various financial sector reforms. Now-a-days all public, private and foreign banks play a vital role in retail banking and provide lot of core banking services to all their rural and urban customers to maintain customer loyalty, retention and providing 100% customer satisfaction. But there is some evidence that few public, private and foreign banks do not give importance to their retail customer relating to maintenance of service quality and customer satisfaction. In this regard, this research paper focuses with a purpose to report the findings of existing literature to identify decompose and define the dynamics of quality service and satisfaction of customer towards all banking services in Global scenario including India. Banks are offering a wide range of services, and maintaining standards in delivering the services. Customers are always expecting good quality services from their banks. So, banks also maintaining enhanced quality services to their customers satisfaction and also to face the competition with other banks. In this paper, an attempt has been made to ascertain the level of satisfaction of customers as regards banking services in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh of India.

Abstract

As economic globalization intensifies competition and creates a climate of constant change, winning and keeping customers has become all the more important. Nowadays banks have realized that cost of attracting a new customer is much more than retaining existing customers, so banks are emphasizing more upon customer satisfaction. These days customers demand for top quality services and products served with minimum wait time, so customers prefer techno- savvy banks as well bankers. At this backdrop, the main problem today before the commercial banks, more particularly the public sector banks in India which were earlier operating in a sheltered regime after nationalization, is their long-run survival, tapping quality customers and forging way ahead by retaining their valued customers. In this study, we use descriptive statistics along with chi-square analysis of variance factors. In the present study we have selected public and private bank at the first stage and in the second stage 5 branches from each bank have been selected. Finally, 10 employees from each branch have been chosen. It is found that the main important influencing factors to the work quality of the bank employees in prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh.

Abstract

Management information system (MIS) produces information products that support many of the day to day decision making needs of managers and business professional reports, displays provide information products satisfy the information needs of decision make at the operational and tactical level of organization that are faced with more structured types of decision situations. Currently the effectiveness of the organization directly related to the appropriate management information system. MIS provides managers with reports and in some cases, on line access to the organization current performance and historical data records. Most of organizations mainly depend up on MIS to process, record store and manipulate accurate data and information for the existence as well as profitability of the organization in processing data into accurate and well defined data, however without applying MIS organization does not have values for profit oriented as well as no profit firms. MIS needs to be strategically managed soaps to bring about sound and profitable organization and thereby increase organizational effectiveness of surviving to increase competitive advantage, to avoid challenges. The key findings indicated that, there is a significant positive relationship between MIS and organizations performance; which implies that the higher the management information systems, the higher the organizations performance.
