The present study was conducted to explore the difference in Depression, Optimism-Pessimism Attitude and PsychologicaTWell-Being in Adolescent Boys and Girls. The sample comprised of 100 adolescents (50 boys & 50 girls) belonging to an age group of 16-18 years and studying in XI class trom CBSE affiliated schools of Rohtak and Sonepat districts. Results revealed that boys experienced more depression than girls. The respondents having pessimism had reported high depression and low psychological well-being than who had reported optimism.Keywords

This study investigates locus of control and its relationship with parental care and overprotection among adolescents of Kashmir. The sample comprised of300 school going adolescents belonging to an age group of 16-18 yrs. Out of 300, 150 were males and 150 were females. LOC scale by Rotter, Tupling 78 and Parental bonding instrument by Parker, & Brown were used to measure these variables. Results revealed significant gender ditferences in relation to parental care and overprotection among boys & girls.Keywords
