The Necessity of Gandhian Postulates in the Present Education System

Gandhian postulates to be adopted in the curriculum of school education to promote world peace.  The core values which remain unchanged forever are Satya (Truth), Dharma (righteousness), Shanti (nonviolence) and Prema (love) bring remarkable changes in the physical, personal, intellectual, spiritual emotions of an individual.  A progressed man has to undergo birth, growth and transformation.  The positive power which is hidden in man makes the common person to grow into a greater personality. The negative by-products of life’s battle ie hatred, anger, jealousy, fear, self-pity or even distrust can get completely destructed by love which is the elixir of life. By constant loving attitude, we can overcome the enmity of an opponent.  Non-injury in the Creed, word and deed is Ahimsa, a perfect love.  One who wears the garment of non-violence takes a seat in the heart of every individual on this planet.  Had the world got the chance to follow non-violence, there would have been no wars, no revolution, no bloodshed.  Truth is considered the best Dharma to be performed in one’s life which cannot be long-hidden.  Gandhi paid a lot to acquire truthfulness to be a motto of his life, later the same became the motto of our country, “Satyameva Jayate”.  By following the invisible universally accepted doctrine which is Dharma with utmost sincerity, he can be visible to everybody and everywhere.
