Mental health is a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community. To satisfy the curiosity of the researcher, the present study aims to see the significant differences among life sciences and social sciences students on mental health. For the purpose of the study, samples of 100 graduate students (50-Life Sciences, 50- Social Sciences) belonging to age group 18-25 years were randomly selected from PDM University, Bahadurgarh. The MHI-18 was administered on the subjects. Data was analyzed by using t-test. The results revealed that there is a significant difference between life sciences and social sciences students on the dimension of depression and overall mental health.Keywords
