DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is a fibre optic technology that can transmit multiple information streams simultaneously over a one fibre. The main focus of this paper on to implementation of 40 Gbps Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) system with different filters (Bessel, Gaussian, Raised cosine filter) modulation format (NRZ) and mixed compensation (combination of all Pre, Post and symmetrical compensations) at same bit rate 40 Gbps with the standard and DCF(Dispersion Compensated Fibre) on the basis of Q-factor, eye –diagram and bit error rate for fixed gain EDFA and but length increases in both type of fibres SMF, DCF. On the basic comparison of that Symmetrical compensation Gives better results as compared to pre and post compensation schemes so in this paper main focus on mixed compensation and achieve better results even at high bit rate 40Gbps using various filters the best filter is Low Pass Bessel filter its transmission distance is 720 km with BER 10-16 and Q factor 7.96 with NRZ format.
